Organize to maintain your motivation in sports

You are fully motivated and ready to finally resume sports, which have been put on hold for various reasons (each better than the other, I trust you). But to ensure that your recovery doesn't come to a halt this time, why not share a few tips? The objectives are to find the right rhythm, maintain consistency over time, and, in short, motivate yourself to engage in sports! Organize to maintain your motivation in sports:

For many of us, fitting in a workout every day amidst the various obligations of daily life seems almost impossible. We take this opportunity to congratulate those who succeed! If getting back to sports is a question of motivation, sticking to it over time often relies on good organization and a few tips that we are sharing with you today.

The ideal pace is to manage to include two sports sessions in your weekly schedule, regardless of the discipline you practice, such as jogging, gym workouts, swimming, handball, or zumba. Ideally, combining two different activities is particularly beneficial as it works different muscle groups and provides variety in social interactions, making the fatigue less noticeable.

Scheduling two weekly sessions is not so difficult. You can schedule these sessions at different times of the day, and they generally fit well with the demands of daily life. Moreover, if a vacation or a sore throat interrupts your gym or tennis sessions for a week, that's okay. In the end, you will have only missed a single session and will have less trouble getting back on track. Overdoing it initially and missing several sessions can easily lead to discouragement, as you might feel like you've missed too many hours to resume calmly.

Agenda

I advise you to take your agenda and create time slots dedicated to sports sessions. Prioritize them when the time comes, treating them like any other "obligation." To save time or create new opportunities, be imaginative. For example, you can do your shopping at the drive-thru instead of the store, ask your partner to babysit one evening a week, or replace your lunch break with a swimming session while having a quick meal on the go.

Friends can be the key to motivation in sports. The idea is to be well-organized and make appointments. Whether it's at the gym, at the starting point of a walking circuit, or on the badminton court, the discipline you practice doesn't matter. The group effect creates motivation as you feel accountable to your friends who are waiting for you, and this gives you every reason to show up!
