Define Your Code.

Understanding your identity as an athlete through self-awareness, self-reflection, and honest feedback exercises. Uncover what core beliefs you have that are holding you back and replace them with enabling beliefs so you can evolve and grow your identity. Setting goals that align with your values, identifying roadblocks that you may encounter along the way and possible solution paths to getting around them, and most importantly creating a clear action plan.
Phase 2

Training Like a Champion.

Training Like a Champion. How to improve your technical skills with mental training? How to enhance your ability to stay focused and concentrate? How to become more confident? Getting clear on how to transition from feeling confident to thinking confidently by avoiding the 5 common mistakes people face with regard to confidence. We will go through methods that enhance the development of your technical skills, and your confidence. You will experience an increase in your concentration and will learn how to get creative in your game to give you an edge over the competition.
Phase 3

Play in the Zone.

You will learn and practice fluidity. The first section guides you to find fluid and effective movements through relaxation. The second section guides you to mindset fluidity. After doing the practice exercises, you will be able to modify your emotional state with self-hypnosis.
Phase 4

Performing Under Pressure.

Developing a Stoic mindset to build resilience and mental toughness against your biggest competitor which is you. Quiet your inner voice of judgment, your constant need for seeking perfection, and the fear of failure all of which act as brakes on your uphill journey. Maintaining composure when life gets hard and pressure starts mounting and you have to face difficult emotions of anxiety, anger, and fear head-on. Learn how to display a strong attitude.
Phase 5

Keep Momentum.

Finding fluidity to move through life with less effort, more enjoyment,increased concentra tion, with enhanced focus. Building momentum by learning what it takes to build a mental training routine, making it a priority to take daily action, focus on what matters, and don’t give up or give in.

This book is an interesting read that offers simple explanations for common problems for athletes. For busy coaches, It offers short summaries in handy boxes that help the reader to refocus on the important ideas, but also includes plenty of examples that could help them introduce concepts to their players. The layout of the book is 5 sections that help the reader understand what causes loss of lucidity, how to get into the lucid state, how to develop it, etc. I felt the first two sections had a lot of overlap, and perhaps could have been condensed a bit, but the last three sections offer some useful and specific tips that would help not only athletes, but I think anybody working to develop their flow state. Lastly as an AP Psychology teacher with lots of athletes in my classes, I think it will be a useful tool to relate the course with their sport.

Swagger in sports! I found this book original and well written. I read most of the sports psychology books and this one offered some interesting new concepts and perspectives. I especially like the way the chapters are structured, guiding you through the process to build your confidence and swagger in your sport.
